Britannia Stadium: This is a major football stadium located in the south of Stoke on Trent. The Stoke City Football Club has been playing there since it was built in 1997. In addition, many of the international games which took place in Stoke on Trent were played in this stadium.

 

Longton Town Hall: Built in the 19th century, the Longton Town Hall was built at the junction of Commerce Street and Market Street. This Stoke on Trent landmark was converted into a courthouse in 1856, which is why its exterior structure was altered. However, in the 1980s, the fate of the Longton Town Hall became a matter of debate. The authorities considered demolishing it while the Stoke on Trent locals wanted to preserve it. Eventually, the latter won and the building became an arts-house cinema venue.
